A public draft, in progress
The Class of 2040 is a proposed educational framework for the AI era, written by Adam Brotman and published here as a living public draft.
What this project is
A framework, a keynote, a white paper, and a planning forecast — released together so educators, parents, students, researchers, policymakers, employers, and technologists can react in the open.
Methodology
The framework proposal is scenario-robust by design. It reasons across three futures — slower, median, and the AI 2040 extreme case — and asks which educational bets would be worth making in all of them.
The forecast baseline is clearly labelled as a planning scenario, not a prediction. Where the current draft and the earlier baseline infographic differ, the draft is authoritative.
How the site changes
Feedback is collected chapter by chapter and via the survey. Approved notes may appear in the public margin. Revisions are logged with a version and date and the type of change that prompted them.
Privacy
Email addresses collected via the feedback forms are private. Only your name, organization, and role appear alongside a published note — and only if you granted permission. Anonymous submissions never display a name.
